Below I share more about my personal philosophy and approach, so you can feel into whether my work is the right fit for you.
WHY WORK WITH ME?

My work is a combination of mindset, strategy and ethics. The methods I use are informed by my academic studies, specialized trainings, ongoing independent research, working alongside reputable mentors, insights gathered from supporting hundreds of people globally, as well as invaluable lessons collected from my own personal and professional experiences.

My general approach honors all aspects of the human experience - with a focus on self-discovery, personal development, embracing intellectual diversity, self-accountability, leading with curiosity and compassion, cultivating a growth mindset (using a variety of tools, including evidence-based methods), and getting you back in the driver’s seat.
One of the things that gives me an edge is my degree in Linguistics and English. This makes me an expert (Read: Nerd) with languages and their mechanics.
I have spent years studying language form, patterns, meaning, and context. Because of this I am well equipped to notice the overarching patterns going on in your birth chart, and am able to interpret the complex language of the stars in return.
I have worked for, trained, and studied with Debra Silverman and her Astrology school, which is where I now teach and mentor students using her Applied Astrology Method.
Combined with my teaching experience, I am able to translate the wisdom of Astrology in a simple way that allows you to absorb the information without the confusion and headache.
With my genuine delivery, I have been described as relatable and practical, as well as grounding and comfortable to talk to.
When you speak with me you’ll feel my optimism, curiosity, and grounded realism in my approach with these elusive and abstract concepts, like spirituality and metaphysics.
My varied personal and professional experiences, and authentic demeanor provide me the way-showing wisdom to help you broaden your perspective and dissolve limiting beliefs.
HOW I APPROACH MY ASTROLOGY WORK
“You are not what happens to you, you are what you make of it.”
My method and the way I use astrology might not be how you're used to. I prefer to take a multi-lens perspective when interpreting the stars and the world we live in. By weaving in multiple zodiac systems with other philosophical and spiritual frameworks, I help provide a more holistic point of view.
While there are a number of influential points within your birth chart that I draw on, my main focus is on the evolutionary and transformational markers. This allows me to pull out the themes and lessons you’re here to learn, as well as identify what your soul aspires to evolve into in this lifetime.
Next, I pair this information with integrative tools and practices to help you ground this newfound awareness in a realistic and tangible way. This gives you the necessary room to grow in the direction of your soul’s promise.
While I love to hold space for the deep stuff, I also keep it light and playful so we can navigate the uncomfortable aspects of ourselves without being blocked by avoidance, resistance, or detachment.
WHAT KIND OF ASTROLOGER AM I?
I am primarily a soul-based astrologer with a practical approach and method, who blends both exoteric astrology with esoteric astrology - meaning I am focused on helping you bridge your personality and soul, as a way to live life more wholly. I am here to help you find ways to ground this newfound awareness into your day-to-day life, so that your choices and habits become a conscious act that continue to support you as you continue on your path.

I am not a fortune-teller, a predictive astrologer, or a tell you what you want to hear type of mentor. I am not for you if you’re wanting to know when you’ll get that next promotion, whether you’re compatible with so-and-so “because you love their sun sign and heard it’s good for yours”, or when you should move. Lastly, I’m most certainly not for you, if you don’t like to be challenged and held accountable for where you need to take responsibility.
While the above are all valid questions and concerns (and may be touched on during our work together where relevant), they are not what I focus on, and are not how my skills are best applied with this work. If this is what you’re looking for, I believe another astrologer would be a better fit for you.
My intention is to help you befriend your challenges, by realizing that it can act as a potential gateway to spirituality. Ultimately, I am here to help you deepen your relationship with your own innate wisdom.
Most importantly,
I am interested in teaching people to do this work for themselves.

WHAT I BELIEVE
I am not here to improve your image…we are walking the walk.
I want you to be your own best teacher.
I constantly challenge my own beliefs and play the devil’s advocate, and demand you do the same.
I emphasize a connection to humanity. Although healing is individualistic work, I believe Humanity improves when people know themselves.
I am grounded and practical. Although a lot of this can seem ‘woo-woo,” I root my work in comprehensive research. My intuition and inner knowing guide my approach, but I always balance it with evidence-based methodologies.
I am uniquely aware of the power dynamics that exist within this field of work, so I take care to provide a non-hierarchical setting for teaching and learning. You have all the power.
I bring a sense of play and humor to my work. I believe this makes difficult topics less intimidating to explore.
I use metaphor and storytelling to help paint a picture between the material and the spiritual worlds. My analogies are ‘top shelf,’ if I do say so myself…
I am open-hearted. I am willing to feel my emotions deeply, and am constantly committed to helping my clients do the same. I meet people where they are.
I am able to track many complexities simultaneously, and relate common threads and patterns.
I have a quirky disposition (and it shows). Life doesn’t have to be that serious!
I am also direct, raw, honest and truthful. I avoid sugarcoating.
I believe in taking slow action. This allows us to contemplate on new insights and give time for things to reveal themselves.

I believe it is important for you (as an individual) to self-resource and come into greater trust with your own inner knowing. You can then take direction from that space, rather than depending on my perspective.
I am here to be a hand to hold and a sounding board, but my ultimate intention is for you, as my client, to develop your own ability to gain clarity before taking action.
I prefer to take a deeper dive with you over an extended period of time via my mentoring and guidance offerings. Though, if you are new to astrology and spirituality, then I do offer single 1:1 sessions for you to discover the potential impact it can have on your life. A follow up is not required, as I understand each individual is different and moving through their journeys at their own pace, so I trust you’ll know if and when you will need my guidance again. So, if you are looking for a one-off flashy “crystal ball” style reading, then I’m not the Astrologer for you. If you take your inner work seriously, then let’s connect!
